
Monolith Systems, Inc. was contracted to design and integrate a series of upgrades to MWW Group's Edison conference room.
The teleconferencing upgrades included the installation of a full-duplex unit giving MWW Group the flexibility to utilize 8 microphones simultaneously during a teleconference. A new stereo receiver was installed to provide surround sound capabilities to the room.
The Edison room also received two custom made connection panels in order to connect laptops and other portable devices to the system.
Working in cooperation with MWW Group's in-house technical support staff, Monolith was able to save the client money by using some of the existing equipment that was in good working condition. Specifically, the room's stereo speakers and equipment rack were both incorporated into the new system. A wireless Crestron Control System featuring a 5.7" 2-Way RF Touch Screen was installed to provide control for all devices within the room.
The result: A system that surpasses client expectations delivered on time and on budget.
